About The Blog

This blog began as a project focused on web hosting and cybersecurity. While studying for a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, with a specialization in environmental science, I started learning programming and cybersecurity alongside my coursework.

I became fascinated by the question of ownership rights over material published online. During a lecture, I came up with an idea: linking posts from a personal blog to social media could help prevent companies from claiming ownership of the images and texts you share with family and friends.

As I revisited old blog content, I realized how the largest social media platforms had completely eroded the personal blogging industry. Very few of the old classics remained as I remembered them from 2010. Many alternatives had become paid services or were so complex and unstable that they were nearly unusable by 2024.

With this blog, I aim to pursue personal development—both privately and professionally—while learning the technical aspects of running and maintaining my own website, as well as the craft of writing and researching articles on topics I find fascinating.
